• Mr. Thomas danced at the "American Music Festival" in Philadelphia under the direction of world-renowned choreographer Geoffrey Holder. He was the lead dancer in the 1992 "Mambo King Album Tour" with Tito Puente and his orchestra, which performed before excited crowds in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Bogota, Barranquilla and Cali, Colombia; and Santiago, Chile. 
  • Summer and fall of 1996 brought Mr. Thomas further international acclaim as he toured Europe with the Eddie Torres Latin Dance Troupe. His performances thrilled audiences in London and Leeds, England; and Rome, Milan, Naples and Florence, Italy. 
  • He visited Washington, DC in 1998 and 1999 for their annual Salsa festival to perform and teach various workshops. 



NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL TOURS

  • The Mambo D Unplugged Tour, in Spring 2001 and 2002, brought him back to Italy where he toured 6 cities including in Rome, Pescara and Naples in 10 days where he taught workshops and performed.
  • In Winter 2007, he traveled back to Assissi, Italy to teach and perform at a weekend Salsa festival. He also taught workshops and performed at various Salsa Congresses and Festivals in NY.
  • In Fall 2009 & 2011, he taught workshops and performed at the 2nd & 4th Annual Quebec Salsa Festival in Quebec City.
  • November & December 2010 took him to Montreal, Canada where he conducted intensive workshops and performed.
  • In November 2011, he returned to Montreal, Canada where he conducted intensive workshops and performed at the Vacilon concert featuring Latin Jazz pianist Yoel Diaz at the Centre Pierre-Peladeau.

          The Asia Experience

  • In September 2013, he visited China for the 2nd Salsamemucho Festival. His workshops and performance won the hearts of all attendees
  • Soon after, a 3-week Asia tour in November 2013 led him to Guangzhou, China; Bangkok, Thailand for their SalsaBangkok Fiesta; and finally in Yangon, Myanmar where he taught intensive workshops and performed.
